I had a German Shepherd rescue for 16 years, a long life for his breed. I believe his happiness in our family brought him longevity! The absence of his unconditional love has left a huge void in our home. I am recently retired and my travels are too frequent to get another dog. But ... This is great news for anyone needing a great environment for their dogs while they're out of town! Many years ago I tried to board my dog and cried when I saw the look in his eyes upon my departure. If you know this feeling, rest assured that I love animals and your pets will receive plenty of affection in your absence! I prefer drop off and pick ups between 10AM and 6PM with a 2 night minimum but if your plans differ let's set up a Meet & Greet to discuss! I am home during the day and dogs will have access to the house as well as the backyard. Walks happen twice a day, once in the morning and again before bed unless otherwise specified. I have a fenced yard but dogs are not left unattended outside. There are water bowls in the house and yard as well as their comforts brought from home to help them feel at ease.
