I am an empty-nester and grandparent of 2 and 4-legged littles! I am at home almost every day so breaks throughout the day for your fur-babies are frequent! Our sweet golden retriever died a few years ago. It was decided at that time not get another dog (for now). With my grandchildren living 6 hours away, I want the flexibility to road trip to see them at least once a month. I have 4 outdoor cat rescues that now call our yard home. They were fixed by Wags and Whiskers. I love dogs and love having them in the home and being greeted by them so pet sitting is the perfect solution. I’ll consider dogs under a year old if house broken and crate trained. You would supply your crate which protects your puppy from getting into anything that has the potential to cause harm when I am not with them.

I am so happy that I found Diane as my sitter. She was amazing with our puppy Winston. She treated him like he was her own and gave him lots of love and attention. She sent me updates and photos of how he was doing which helped us feel very confident that he was in good, caring hands. She took him outside to burn off some of that puppy energy, played with him and made sure he was well-fed and cuddled. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and their needs. She is the best dogsitter I have ever had and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and caring person to take care of their fur babies. Diane is not just a dogsitter, she is a dog lover and a great person. Thank you, Diane, for everything you did for Winny, he can’t wait to see you again!
This was my first experience using Rover and I can not say enough good things about Diane and her husband Dave. They were so welcoming from the time we stepped inside the house. They were also so understanding when my dog had some anxiety since this was all new to him. I would recommend them to anyone in the area and would use them again if visiting the area.
Diana and her husband Dave provided a safe and loving home for my Annabelle. I never once worried that she was well taken care of. Will definitely use her services in the future.

My yard isn’t fully fenced so I walk all dogs that I watch. My neighborhood is quiet and a great dog-walking area. If they like to run, I do exercise early mornings and would take with me if it’s a (slow) run/walk day! I will take more than one dog from same family for care in my home.

If your dog or cat has any special needs or has any tendencies related to loud noises, storms, destructive habits or aggressive behaviors, please be transparent with details. Only house trained pets will be boarded or accepted for doggy daycare. I can do pick-up witin 10 miles of my home. If outside that distance, I can meet at an agreed upon location.
A typical day
I like to exercise early in the day and will take your dog with me for (slow) run and/or walk. I can also take them to a dog park if you prefer.

Availability
I am available to walk your dogs early morning, mid day and evenings if they stay in your home or in mine. I am available to check in on your kitties, bunnies or any other animal with fur or feathers. If your dog/pup is in my home, extra outside time will be given. I am also available to provide daycare- you can drop off before work and pick up after.
