Pet care experience
I have had dogs (and cats) my entire 27 years. I often think my pets have adopted me, as opposed to vice versa. Dogs aren't just a man's best friend - they're a woman's too! I have flexible hours on short notice, and actually prefer larger dogs. I don't mind the cold and the idea of walking a dog for exercise totally outweighs the gym. My best four-legged friend recently passed after 16 years and I am not able to have a dog at my current residence. I'd love the opportunity to make a dog's day with treats, walks, and play. I've volunteered and donated to animal shelters. I always rescue my pets - never buy. And yes, I can pick up after your dog. Hand sanitizer exists for a reason, and as far as I know, all dogs poop. I am great with dogs of all ages, but older dogs are my favorite. We can all learn from our elders.

Diane is the kindest friend I have. She took care of my handicapped cats many times before. She is very gentle and patient with them. I trust her more then anyone to babysit my furry children.
Diane loves pets and they love her. Two dogs and three cats have claimed her as their mother (so far). She's caring, nurturing and reliable. I've trusted her with my dog; she'll take care your pet as if it was her own.
Diane J is great with animals! Not only is she competent and reliable, but she has the compassionate and loving nature that you want for your dog when work or other obligations keep you from being there yourself. She takes the time to play and give extra attention to my dog beyond what I expected. I am very protective of Kody and wouldn't entrust his care to just anyone, but Diane has proven to be a great substitute when I am away. He just loves her!

I am the human of my two cats, therefore your dog will smell them on me. I prefer dogs that don't fit in a purse. My favorite breeds are: Border Collie, German shepherd, Husky, Australian cattle dog -- anyone with a snout who likes to talk. My first dog had 3 legs (and I got in trouble in kindergarten for drawing my pet without 4 legs) so I can work around that as well. I'm not comfortable with injections, but I'm fine with oral medications and basic first aid.
A typical day
Your dog and I will go anywhere well-lit. Safety of myself and your four-legged child are my #1 priority. I carry a doggy water bottle, hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, and Vaseline for chapped paws in the winter. I can easily wipe muddy feet to prevent dirty furniture. I am not a distance-runner, but long walks and playing tag at the park are absolutely fine. I can work with special diets and provide treats and toys.
