Hi! My name is Diane, I am an experienced pet sitter who has owned and cared for dogs since I was ten years old! I'm passionate, loving and (hopefully) your dog's next best friend. I can be your cat's best friend as well! I can't remember a time in which I did not love animals. I have owned a variety of dogs that have lived well into their prime from German Shepherd mixes to tiny Pomeranians, Keeshonds, Sheep Dogs and Cardigan Welsh Corgis. I was also a pet-sitter for five Scotties for ten years. They sure kept me busy! I adopted each of my six dogs from either the Humane Society or breed specific rescues. There is nothing better than being the forever home for an animal and giving them a second chance at life. Additionally, although he is not a dog, my African Ringneck Parakeet, Satchel Paige, passed in March of 2019 at the age of twenty-seven. My cat Tyler, lived to the age of twenty-one. As I stated, all of my pets live well past their prime and enjoy fulfilling senior years. I take very good care of my pets, and I will treat yours just like my own! When I'm not spending time with animals I love reading, writing and watching movies. I also love crafting, I make quilts and am even learning to knit! I love keeping busy and learning new things.
