I love to make dogs, big or small, smile and laugh! We can enjoy either peaceful, slow-paced walks or more energetic excursions that could include games of fetch or frisbee. If your dog likes the water, I have favorite beach spots including Howarth Park and the Pigeon Creek Trail. If they prefer more sedate walks, we might go to either leashed parks, such as Langus Riverfront Park or Grand Avenue Park, or off-leash parks such as Lowell Dog Park or Loganberry Lane Park. I grew up with pomeranians, then as a teen I fell in love with my family's golden retriever. As an adult I've adored an enthusiastic, rescued big mixed-breed who was an awesome frisbee athlete, an elderly jack Russell with health problems, and now I have a pair of rescued poms with their own little personality baggage and issues.
