Pet care experience
My mission as a 65 year young retired woman whose children are grown and on their own, is to provide the highest level of quality care while you are not there. Going on vacation can be stressfull enough but wondering if you've left the care of your home and most beloved fur babies in the care of an individual who will love them and take care of them as if they were their own while you're away can be an additional stressor. I 've been there myself many times. Trying to enjoy my time away yet always thinking about how they are being treated and wondering if the hired caretaker is providing the same loving and nurturing environment they are used too and caring for the home the same way the owner would. Rest assured that I am that person. I have had horses, cats , dogs, fish, macaw,ducks and even a rooster throughout my years. I have always provided the best care for them and for those that I have been hired to care for. Go away, enjoy your day. Rest assured, have no fear for I am here. I have lots of love to give. All I need is a place to give it.

Not writing this review from 2 years ago has been weighing heavy on my heart but I feel the need to advocate for me and for my dog Barkley. Though Diane was responsive and seemed sweet, she simply did not understand how to follow directions. I told her how many scoops of food, as well as how many supplements from this separate container (they are little beef chews, and he was meant to get 1 per day). Diane ended up giving my sweet boy the ENTIRE BOTTLE of supplements. Coming home to the empty bottle, I wanted to cry. Now, 2 years later, my dog has kidney disease. I cannot help but think that Diane’s devastating mess up contributed to this awful fate for him. If I could do one thing over in my entire 7 years of having Barkley, I would have chosen anyone other than Diane to watch my pups. Or I just wish I had not gone away that weekend. :(
We have used Diane several times and we are very happy with her services. She is affordable and she’s accommodating to all of our requests and takes great care of all of our dogs needs. She always arrives on our agreed time and sometimes she’s available at a moments notice which is great when you’re a last minute planner. I love that she sleeps with the dogs in the living room on the air mattress. The dogs really appreciate having a human at night and it eases my mind not having to worry about them (the dogs) falling off the bed or Diane falling down the stairs, since both of my dogs (one has since passed) need to be carried down.
Diane was great. I have 2 large Great Danes and she was wonderful with them. She sent me frequent updates and let me know how they were doing. She spent a lot of time with them and they were well cared for. Thank you Diane! I would definitely use Diane again when I go away.
Diane is fantastic! She is extremely professional and took GREAT care of us fur-babies.

I would like information about the dog and would prefer to meet the owners and the dog or cat in their natural environment in order to get a sense of their routine, the things they like and don’t like, how they get along if there is more than one and if there is any jealousy issues between them and how to manage any issues especially when committing to in-home-overnight care.Also to go over any medical issues that may require medications.
A typical day
I only provide services where there is a fenced in yard as I have issues that are brought on by certain weather conditions. I am willing to take walks as long as I am feeling up to it.

Availability
I am a retired woman. I love housesitting and animal sitting. I am available even for short term notice. I will do extended stay over one week or more. I do a meet and greet with the owners and the pets to make sure it’s a good fit. I follow the owners instructions on care and feeding as well as exercise
