I've been around dogs since I was a little kid when my family adopted a chow german shepherd mix. In high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter for several months and loved every second of it! I worked in a dog and cat boarding/rescue to get myself through my last year of college and I loved it. I took care of all types of dogs from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs, young puppies to senior dogs, very very shy dogs to the most outgoing and hyper. The owner of the boarding place particularly loved dobermans, rotties, and pitbulls so I have plenty of experience with larger dogs. I also would frequently pet sit for my sister who has a pitbull and a german shepherd mix. At the moment, I have one dog named Norman who is a lab great dane mix and 95 pounds of pure love! He has severe separation anxiety so I know how to care for your pups that suffer from the same condition!
