Pet care experience
I am empathetic towards others and have a soft spot for all animals. I am a friendly, loving, energetic person who owns 2 dogs and one bunny. Simba the bunny is 3 years old, my 12 year old schnoodle named Coco and my 6 year old Pitbull named Bella. I enjoy walking Coco in downtown or the beach, after 3 knee surgeries she can't keep up like before. Bella and I on the other hand enjoy taking long hikes or walks across town. Bella can be reactive with other dogs so I do have experience handling dogs who are anxious. I have successful trained puppies in basic commands such as to sit, stay, shake hands, and roll over. I believe it is important to spend time to stimulate the mind by teaching them new tricks. The smallest dog I have dog sat was a 5lb Yorki and the biggest dog weighed in at 65lbs. I do feel comfortable caring for all dog sizes and all dog ages.

I like to have the dog/cat feel as comfortable as possible. Giving them time to adjust to me. I ask specific questions about feeding time, how and when. I have my dogs on a schedule and my day flows a lot smoother. When walking I like to make sure they are calm and following my commands before we start our walk. I don't just walk your dog I study them, look for cues of anxiety, nervousness or stress. Something I often do with my dog Bella. Because of how she reacts to other dogs I find places and times of the day she won't have many distractions so we can both enjoy the walk.

Let me know of any behavior or special needs your dog may have. I am here to make sure I provide quality care for your pet since you are trusting me with a walk, house sitting, or dropping in. Not only do I want to be safe but I want to make sure your dog is safe too. As mentioned my dog Bella is reactive with other dogs so I take extra precautions (Never let her off her leash unless we are fenced in at home, I learned techniques to keep her distracted so she doesn't react, I walk at times of the day I know not a lot of people are walking their dogs, and am very familiar with the trails or neighborhoods I take her to)
A typical day
I grew up in Novato and Petaluma and am very familiar with good trails and parks. If your working on tricks, other commands, or walking etiquette please let me know so I can continue to reinforce it even when your not there!
