Unfortunitely the experience was not good. I had high hopes because our initial communication and interaction went well. Diana knew all about my dog and I was aware that she had a puppy before I booked the stay. Diana told me that she would keep the dogs separated if an issue occurred. She text me multiple times the first day and said the 2 dogs were getting along and everything was going well. However, I then received messages which she seemed mad that my dog urinated on her carpet after she just walked him. She didn’t seem to understand this is normal behavior (especially for 1. A boy dog 2. With there being another dog in the home and multiple dogs have stayed in the apartment 3. The first time my dogs been away from me ever). The next day I get a message that she contacted Rover because my dog was injured. She never actually told me what happened but said that I needed a friend/family to come get him. (Obviously I wouldn’t be using Rocer if I had this option). Luckily, Rover customer service came through and facilitated my baby going to another sitter (which she said he was great and had 0 issues with him. She said he’s welcome back whenever). I’m not sure what happened but I don’t recommend Diana until she learns a little bit more about dog behaviors and her puppy is older. My baby was injured (though not bad) but I still don’t know exactly what happened. I do appreciate that she drove him an hour to the new sitter.
