Hi my name is Diana and I am so excited to be your go-to pet sitter. I'm a good listener, fun-loving and of course, passionate about dogs! I'd love to meet you and your pet and see if we'd be a great match! Dogs are great because they are so loyal, forgiving and they're always excited to see you--even if they've met you ten times before! While I’m obviously a dog person, I have taken care of many different types of animals. I adopted a Korean Jindo in November 2021. He is a rescue dog, which of course comes with some challenges, but caring for and training him has been more fulfilling than I could have imagined. Additionally, I have taken care of dogs and cats of all different sizes and breeds through Rover, as well as friends and family’s pets, over the past 8 years. Growing up I also gained experience taking care of my neighbor's dog, a Siberian Husky, as well as my own pet fish and a guinea pig. I'm so excited to make more new animal friends. They improve the lives of their human companions and I believe that pets are one of the most wonderful parts of the world. As a former college athlete, I am disciplined, a good listener, and able to follow directions with great attention to detail. I also lead an active lifestyle, which gives me the high energy levels necessary to succeed in caring for animals. In my full time job as a cybersecurity professional, I spend my days trying to keep people, companies, and organizations safe from the very real threats of cyberspace, so I can guarantee a similar level of caution and discretion when caring for your pets. My day job also allows me to work from home often, so depending on the date you will be away, I may also be able to drop-in or stay with your pet during the day on weekdays.
