I am typically available in the evenings and on weekends, but I am often able to accommodate morning and midday visits as well - especially if you are able to provide some flexibility in timing :)

Safety of your pet(s) will always be the first priority. I require all clients to either provide a preferred veterinarian, or authorize me to choose one in the event of an emergency. Canine clients, please note that I also bring treats and an emergency slip lead to most visits.

For repeat clients: Feel free to request even if my calendar is marked unavailable - I can sometimes accomodate, especially if timing is flexible! And please let me know if anything has changed regarding your pet's care :) For new clients: Let's schedule a meet and greet! Please provide basic care details (food, water, exercise, etc.) and let me know if your pet(s) have any medications, special needs, or medical/behavioral concerns. I am confident in handling any of these situations, but I still always like to know beforehand so I can provide the best care to your pet(s)!
A typical day
I always take care of basic needs first (potty, food, water, medication, etc). Then any extra time I'll always spend time giving your pet(s) exercise, playtime and attention! I usually gauge what your pet seems most interested in and go from there :) After each visit, you will receive a Rover card through the app filled with photos and details of the visit :)

Pets are my passion! I have seen firsthand the positive impact that quality care and patience has with animals, and I strive to provide exceptional individualized care to each of my clients :) Further details regarding my experience are below: As a former shelter canine behaviorist (as well as a current pet sitter, pet owner, and former shelter volunteer), I have safely handled and cared for thousands of dogs + cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including those with behavioral/medical concerns (such as jumping, barking, mouthing/biting, fearfulness, reactivity, resource guarding, deafness, blindness, limited mobility, and more). I employ my extensive experience interpreting animal body language to respond appropriately to each individual pet's needs. I also am trained and experienced in proper socialization, basic canine training, and administration of oral, subcutaneous and IV medications/vaccines/preventatives.
