Pet care experience
I am currently a pre-medical student, with a passion for taking care of others. My favorite book as a child was Charlotte’s Web, and it turned me into a complete animal lover! The book taught me to have empathy for animals, and stays with me to this day. I would be happy to set up a meet & greet with before caring for your pet. My family owns two Pomeranians, and I have a large golden retriever (87 pounds), so I’m familiar with looking after dogs of all sizes! I know from first hand experience just how important your dog must be to you, and I will do everything I can to treat him/her as my own! I am also flexible, and am willing to accommodate any special needs you or your dog may have. This is not just a job to me, it’s a passion.

Diana has been such a great match for our puppy! She is detailed, conscientious, and very caring. We ended up rushing to find a sitter and Diana has been super flexible in working with our schedules. It has been wonderful to come home to our sweet and happy puppy and know that he has been well cared for ?
Diana has been an excellent walker! She is prompt and responsive and most importantly very diligent with our dog. We always feel at ease with her and that he is in good hands.
Diana was my neighbor for a year in college, during which I had my golden retriever, Brady, with me. Whenever I was busy with schoolwork or away for a weekend, Diana was kind enough to walk Brady and keep him overnight. She was always affectionate with Brady and I could rest easy whenever he was with Diana, as I knew that Brady was receiving the absolute best care. As a dog owner, I would completely trust Diana to be a wonderful walker and would recommend her to any dog parent who is looking for a dependable and friendly walker.

I like to stick to my client’s routines when I’m in their home for stays. If I’m coming in for a walk only or a check in, I like to give the pets a long belly rub/attention and play before I leave to minimize boredom and loneliness until their dog parents come home.

Does your pet get spooked easily? If so, by what? (Cars, trucks, people, strollers, vacuum etc.) Would you like me to follow any instructions to help you maintain an obedience strategy that you have? (e.g. give your puppy treats when they go potty outside, give them treats when they sit, etc.) How often do you give treats and for what reasons? What commands does your dog know? Can your dog “heel” on command?
A typical day
I love to walk dogs in nearby parks, so they can get the stimulation from all the scents and squirrel watching! I also would be happy to incorporate any special activities that your dog enjoys into our routine.

I’m currently not working in any other capacity. I will be starting medical school in August, so I made sure to keep my (last free) summer open with lots of schedule flexibility!
