Pet care experience
I will look after your dog as if it was my own, will follow any routine you give me and send you lots of pictures! I have been using Rover for more than a year and looking after my friends’ pets for even longer. I absolutely love dogs and it will be an absolute pleasure to look after yours!

I live in a ground floor maisonette, with a semi-fenced garden in the front and a fenced garden in the back. I have no children and no pets of my own, so your pet will have my full attention. All my furniture is dog friendly and I’m not too precious except for my bed (they’ll need to sleep in a crate or in the living room if not crate-trained). I’ll take loads of pictures to send to you so you can know what they’ve been up to and be reassured your dog is having a great time :) When housesitting, I’ll leave your place as I found it. I’ll bring my own food so I only need good wifi connection and access to heating during the winter!

I prefer to have a full routine of the dog so I can offer some consistency and everything I need to know about your dog. I also like to know how they are with other dogs when going for walks (do they go off the lead, are they friendly, do they have good recall). Also please do let me have their favourite toy if they have one and maybe something they can smell of you if they get anxious.
A typical day
I live near a great dog-friendly park. I love playing with dogs, doing tug-of-war, playing catch, and will use my breaks during work hours to play with them and give them full attention. I make sure all my plans are dog friendly when I am petsitting.

Availability
I’m currently on a career break after travelling and looking for a fully remote job that allows me to be more present when looking after dogs. If I have plans for the weekend I make sure they are dog friendly so I can take the dog I am looking after with me. When I am taking care of a dog I like to do lots of walking, especially on the weekend and I invite my friends who also have dogs, so they can socialise (I will always check first if your dog is okay with that). If you share your dog’s routine I will be happy to follow it and provide as much consistency as possible while you’re away.
