Note: I do have a dog-friendly elderly cat who is non-aggressive; your pet must be cat-friendly. I am a professor at NAU w a love for dogs and a flexible schedule. I have grown up with dogs of all sizes (pit/German Shepard mix, collie/Shepard mix, jack Russell, boxer) and have so many pictures with my friend’s dogs that other friends ask me how many new dogs I own! I have also dog-sat for Shepard’s, bull mastifs, boxers, and a French bulldog. The dogs have been young and energetic and also extremely elderly and needing medicine and ointment application. I have a very flexible schedule and can check in on your dog or cuddle with your dog on my couch. I live off the Ponderosa Trail in West Flagstaff and take 3-4 mile walks daily. I would love to take your dog for a long or short walk, depending on the need. I also enjoy the outdoors, so I can take your dog on a hike of any distance, or just play around in a local park if they don’t like strenuous activity. My apartment is relatively small, so dogs requiring a lot of room to run around inside may not be the best fit.

Dian did a fabulous job for this first timer. My Toby had only been with family or friends. He made her (and me) feel very comfortable with the process. He sent me daily updates and pictures. Would definitely recommend Dian!

Dian was flexible with drip off and pickup times, got McKenzie out for walks, sent pictures, and was attentive to her stress and resulting lack of appetite. We are very thankful for him watching McKenzie, and will definitely leave her with him again if our schedules coincide.
Dian is amazing. He was flexible with time and willing to meet us for a meet and greet first. His place is immaculate, which is great for my pup that tends to find little things he's not supposed to eat. Dian sent us tons of cute pictures and gave us many updates, so even though we were gone for a long time, we felt at ease. He even got my discomfort-averse dog to love snow! We found him to be very responsible, communicative, and kind. I highly recommend him!
