Pet care experience
My 6 years of experience started as volunteer work at an animal shelter during my freshman year of high school. It was an agricultural school so that’s how I found my love for animals. After that I spent 4+ years as a handler at a boarding/ daycare facility and went on to do grooming after that. I ended up becoming a trainer as well actually which is what my current job is. Dogs are my passion so it’s my goal to learn any and everything about them! Ive had 4 dogs myself so I’m used to a loud house. I’ve been trained to trim nails, shave paw pads/sanitary area, give baths and even administer medication. Working at a boarding facility gave me the opportunity to learn that the smallest of changes in a dog could be a life or death situation. Which is why I ALWAYS try to get to know your dog(s) regular temperament when taking care of them by becoming their best friend! I really just love dogs and I want to love your dogs when you can’t!

In my home, my dogs are crated for down time throughout the day. But in other homes, I try to keep whatever routine the parent(s) already enforced whether that be something like crating only certain dogs at certain times or just letting them run around the house!
Information Diamond K. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about any special needs or behavior issues. I base the activities we do off of what i think the dog can handle. So for instance if your dog is super shy and not very fond of strangers, I would like to know so I don’t take them to dog friendly stores and have them react negatively.
A typical day
I’ve learned that dogs get tired from both physical AND mental stimulation. So while I can run them around for a little bit I also would love to play with some puzzles and other games!

I’m currently working full time at the moment but my work schedule can sometimes be moved around or changed as needed if expressed ahead of time!
