Pet care experience
Hello and nice to meet you! :) As a pet-owner myself, I know how important it is to find a trustworthy, communicative, and compatible sitter. I joined Rover in June 2021 and am excited to provide your pets with high-quality care and you with a peace of mind! Thank you for considering me to be there for your fur babies. :) I've been taking care of pets - my own and others - since I was 10 years old when my mom brought home a Shetland Sheepdog puppy. Annabell became my sister and best friend. I loved and cared for her for 12 years until she passed. Then six years ago, I adopted a kitten from the local humane society, and Hinata is my angel baby bean! As someone who spent most of my life caring for dogs, I've spent the past six years learning everything I can about cats and how to help them thrive! I love all pets - and animals in general really - and have 20 years of experience caring for my own pets and those of friends and family, as well as the ones of the families I've nannied for.

Our pup decided instantly that she was comfortable around Devynne and couldn’t wait to show her around the neighborhood. She was punctual, sent a bunch of photos, and took great care of our fur child. Will use again!
We are so grateful for Devynne’s care of our dog. She provides detailed updates of her time spent with our pup including lots of pictures and videos. Our dog is always so happy to see her!
Devynne is honestly the BEST! She looked after my two cats while I was away. Her report cards are so thorough and you can tell she genuinely cares and is definitely an animal person! I prioritize ample communication (including pictures and videos), detail-orientation, and providing your pet with compassionate, engaging care in their own environment. Fill me in on everything your pet needs, and I'll make sure it's done while sending you lots of updates!

Detail-orientation and organization are my middle names! The more information you can provide about your pet's daily schedule, favorite things, special needs, medications, behaviors you're trying to reinforce or curb... the better!!! Obviously, any health issues or concerns will be top priority. Beyond that, tell me all there is to know about your pet and how you want them to be loved when you're away. :)
A typical day
I am focused on providing the most personalized, interactive, and loving care I can for your pets. With dogs, I try to spend as much time outside being active with them as possible. Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are FULL of awesome parks and places to walk. It very much depends on what you are comfortable with or what your pet is accustomed to, but I love Eden Park, Ault Park, and Sawyer Point the most! With cats, I always let them take the lead - do they want to play, snuggle, get brushes, or watch some birds? Awesome, me too!!! My cat LOVES it when I hide treats around the house and she has to hunt for them with me as her audience. I'd love to try a treat hunt with your kitties too!

Pet sitting is currently my full-time job, and I have a very flexible schedule! I'll keep my availability as up-to-date as possible on Rover, but you are more than welcome to message me with your unique request or needs and I'm sure I can make something work.
