Hi, I’m an experienced dog owner looking to help you out with your dogs walks, or checking in with your pet to give them food/love/bathroom breaks. I have flexible availability, can follow your wishes when it comes to training/walking style, and love all breeds and sizes of canines. I am available in Fort Saskatchewan, and potentially in Edmonton depending on the location and job details. I drive and I am willing to take your pup in my vehicle for different scenery, including woods walks or by a man made lake. I provide clean up bags, and treats upon request. I respect Covid protocol and will wear a mask if anyone will be home when I pick up your dog, and will sanitize my hands thoroughly before and after each walk. Devon was so accommodating and took our last minute booking request. She replied to our request so promptly and she was so friendly and clearly loves dogs! She followed instructions for leaving the dogs and house safe and sound for when we returned back home. We hope to book her sometime soon again!

Devon was an amazing sitter for our cat while we were away. Our trip was very last minute and she was super accommodating due to the circumstances. She managed to make my very shy cat comfortable and she eased my anxiety for 2 weeks. She went above & beyond what I could’ve asked for.

Unfortunately, I cannot have pets in my house as I have a reactive senior dog. I would be more than happy to go to your home though, and take care of your fur baby to the best of my ability. I’ll treat your home as my own, cleaning up any messes we make and being very respectful of everything. I always provide at least the minimum of two pictures, but will often send more than that. I want you to see that your pet is being well taken care of, and that they are in good hands when you can’t be with them.

I always like to know if they are reactive, and what they may get triggered by. Allergies are crucial for me to know, as well as any medical requirements. I try my very best to care for your pets the way you’d like me to, so please give me as much info as possible in regards to feeding, crating, walking etc.
A typical day
I love to walk your dogs around the neighbourhood, or through nearby trails, or by the pond. If we establish some ongoing trust, I’d love taking your pup in my vehicle to the dog park or a further woods walk. When it’s too cold for walks but you still need someone to occupy your dog, we can do indoor games/puzzles or some training. I’ll never pass up a good pup snuggle either for those lazy doggies that just want some attention!

My schedule always changes, as I’m juggling a part time job and a young daughter. That being said, I can usually work around things if you give me enough notice. More often than not, I can also do last minute requests so feel free to message me and see if I’m available when you need pet care!
