Pet care experience
I have been training and caring for pets since I was a little girl. I naturally understand and work very well with a plethora of different animal species and scenarios; (i.e.,dogs, cats, fish, chickens, puppy/kitten training, senior dog/cat experience). I have three dogs and four cats at home, as well as two salt water fish tanks, three freshwater fish tanks, and a hermit crab (in secure tank). If your pet is being cared for at my home, there is plenty of space to play on a 7 acre property that is gated. I am currently in school at MassBay Community College, with an interest in ethology/veterinary care. I have a great work ethic and natural inclination to make you and your pet as happy as possible during your requested service. Your satisfaction guaranteed! **Prices increasing on May 1st, 2024**

Devon stayed at our home, watched our 2 pups for a week, and fed our fish. One of our dogs is elderly, blind, and a little needy. Devon was excellent with her and learned her behaviors very quickly. Devon was also very communicative with us regarding any issues, including the wifi going out at one point and troubleshooting that. She also sent plenty of pictures while we were away missing our pups. When we came home, the house was clean, and the dogs were relaxed. She even stripped the bed she was staying in, washed, and folded the sheets! We have already booked another stay with her, and the dogs have told us that they are very excited to see her again.
Devon was very punctual, communicative, and patient with our blind 13-year-old terrier mix and her rambunctious younger brother shepherd mix. It was her first time taking care of a completely blind dog, and she asked the right questions and caught on very quickly. She followed our directions exactly and left our home clean and dogs relaxed. I would definitely recommend booking Devon for an overnight with any kind of dog.
Devon was pet sitter extraordinaire for a week while we were abroad, taking superb care of our highly anxious dog and high needs cats. Our dog clearly adores Devon and couldn’t have been happier in her care. Devon sent tons of photos and updates, which our family loved seeing. She has our highest recommendation and we truly appreciate knowing our pets and home are in such capable hands. Thank you!

Overall, I am naturally very in-tune and well aware of how animals may be feeling. If your pet has anxiety or any other neurological difference, I can assure you that I can quickly adapt to your animal's needs. My ability to retain details has served me well with petsitting - my goal is to recreate the home environment as close as possible so that the only thing missing is you! I have experience with totally blind and deaf dogs as well. Please let me know if you have any specific instructions with your pet!

Please let me know about any dietary needs (allergies, treats, etc.,) and/or behavioral issues (biting, barking, resource guarding, not fully trained, etc.,) before booking. If your pet has a history of biting and/or attacking, I expect upfront honesty from you, and will do my best to figure something out to make everyone happy. I always put safety for all humans and animals first. Thank you!
A typical day
I thoroughly believe in getting the most out of exercise as you can for your dog and/or cat! Although every pet is different; I can easily adapt to and adjust the energy level at any time. Usually 20-30 min walks, lots of playtime, paired with a favorite toy and plenty of treats works wonders!
