Devon was an amazing sitter! He kept me in the loop of Daisy's daily activities and what-not. Devon sent pictures of her daily walks, meal times and even when she was napping. I felt comforted that my elderly dog was in good hands. I'm will definitely book Devon to watch Daisy in the future; in fact, I'm going to ask him to watch her again this weekend!

Devon took care of our dog Buddy at a time when we weren't quite sure if he was ready to be left with anyone. He had been with us for18 months, but he was abused and neglected before we adopted him. It took us over a year to gain his trust, and we never left him for any period of time longer than an overnight. He would spend those hours starving himself and hiding under the piano until we returned. He was especially "velcro'd" to me, when I returned, he became clingier and clingier. Though he had made great strides since we adopted him, he was still not really interested in anyone but us and tended to be really distrustful of strangers. And then Devon came along. What a gentle and sweet guy. He seemed to read Buddy immediately, and sensed his cautiousness. It was like watching a dog whisperer. This dog, who had barked at everyone and not let anyone near him, was now just soothed, and safe, protected and comforted by Devon's truly gifted ways. I couldn't believe it. We left him with Buddy, in our home, and when we returned, Buddy was great. He had acted normally within a day and I'm sure it was because Devon KNOWS what he's doing. I was so impressed, and relieved, that Buddy was going to have a life after all!! He had adjusted to a stranger (though I think it was Devon that made it easier) and he has been different ever since. Of all the people that enter our home, and there are quite a few with a small business operation, Buddy only reacts to two people without fear....Devon is one of them. I am so impressed with him and his knowledge of animal behavior, his innate ability to stave off "level 10" outburst, and his calm and quiet, devoted dedication to the animal. I would recommend him for any dog sitting opportunity, and I wish he was available all the time!!
