Pet care experience
Hey there! I am an RVT who recently changed careers. What that means is I was schooled, trained, and registered as a veterinary nurse. I can administer medicine, and have tons of experience with healthy and sick dogs. I also have experience with deaf dogs and puppy training. I have ALWAYS loved all animals and even get made fun of for never passing up the chance to say hi to every dog I see.

Devon was amazing in watching our two girls! She sent us lots of adorable picture and kept us updated on their stay.
We are over the moon with Devon and their care of our Molly. They are so attentive and loving . Our dog requires medical care and Devon did an excellent job. Our dog immediately relaxed with them and that is a rare thing. Will definitely be calling again next time we need boarding.
Devon did us a huge favor in taking care of our dog Mack while he was in the middle of a pretty heavy medical regimen to treat an eye issue. Devon kept us updated with pictures every day--out on walks and hanging out with sweet Donut! Devon really went above and beyond to make sure Mack's medications were administered according to the vet's directions, and that he was well-loved and cared for. Mack is a sensitive dog and can get a little anxious in different environments, but this is the first time he has ever come home from an overnight stay without us and not had some of his hair falling out due to stress. Major win and a huge testament to how amazing Devon is. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful sitter!
Devon is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced RVT’s I know ! Devon cares for you pets nose to tail and will all the love in their heart. Devon treats every pet like their very own, special pup! Devon has been taking care of the family pets for years now. We wouldn’t have it any other way!

I will cuddle your pet big-time, walk them as much as they want, take them to the dog park if you are ok with that, and we can also hike and splash around if it's a weekend! We can also just relax on the couch :) My dog, Donut, absolutely LOVES other dogs, and so does my child.

Information Devon C. would like to know about your pet
For dogs staying at my home, they need to be house-trained and on flea prevention. I would also like to know any specifics like if your dog is leash-aggressive, dog-aggressive, or reacts to particular things/people in a heightened way, so I can be prepared accordingly. As mentioned, I have a 7 year old child with me 50% of the time, so your dog needs to be child-friendly if booked during that time.
A typical day
SO many options and totally depends on your dogs (or cats). I love the stone mountain trail by my house as well as the continuation of the mason mill trail by the mason mill dog park. There is a little stream there to splash & play in. If cats stay with me and are super playful, I'm happy to engage them with toys and whatnot too. We can also lay low and cuddle up on the couch :)

I'm 2024, I went back to working from home the majority of the week so after a little break, I'm back to dog sitting! Yay! I have a 7 year old with me half of the time, so I might be able to watch your dog even if they aren't ok with kids (if I don't have him with me during the requested window). If he is here, he loves animals and is very good with them. :)
