I have cared for family pets for my entire life. I grew up with cats (even helping a few of them give birth at our home) and when I was 20 years old, I adopted my first dog, a beagle/basset hound mix named Beau. Six years later, my partner and I adopted his sister, Ava, a husky/boxer mix. Beau and Ava have both crossed the rainbow bridge (Ava in 2019 at 7 years old from a sudden illness and Beau in 2021 from old age - he was 15 years old). I am now the parent of two dogs, Ellie, who is a 4 year old bully mix, and Freddy, a 3 year old Cane Corso rescue from Detroit. I have experience with very young puppies and senior dogs. I am confident, comfortable, and happy around all animals and like dogs more than most humans most of the time! I feel comfortable reading physical cues from dogs and I'm very dependable. I respect a pet owner's wishes about how to interact and care for their pet and believe our pets are treasured members of our families. I would love to help you care for your pet!
