I have no yard, just small sections of grass around the house. I live with a few family members and have family next door that usually comes over a lot, but I will occasionally schedule times when they are not home to keep a calm environment. If family is home then the pets will still get unconditional love, lots of care, lots of fun and will never be forgotten or left alone. There will be kids around the pets on a daily basis and the kids are also lovely with pets. I have a 2 years old female dog that is trained, unneutered and good with other dogs that are calm and like to play. My dog loves to play and will sometimes try to wrestle a little bit with dogs she likes and can be comfortable with, if your dog cannot handle a little rough playing sometimes without getting angry and trying to attack then your dog may not want to be here. If the roughness gets out of hand I can and will stop the violence between them but I want to prevent us from getting to that point. I take my pets on daily walks and some on runs to keep the pets in good health.
