I don’t wish to harm this young woman’s dog sitting business, but I can’t in good conscious not share our experience with her stay in our home. Devon left our home in terrible condition. Our elderly dog was dehydrated and stressed when we returned from our trip, and her poop and what we assume was her blood was smeared on our bed. Devon had opened and used expensive face creams and masks without permission, burnt candles that had never been lit, and went through our things that had been placed in storage downstairs. She broke our vacuum cleaner that I had hidden in a bag before we left, and left it tangled in electrical cords that were plugged in and with our dog here. Despite frequent requests for more updates she still only sent 1-2 pictures per day. So many of our things were moved around and crammed into closets that it’s hard to know what is misplaced or if it’s been taken, but one jacket and one candle are still yet to be found. When I called Devon to discuss these issues she cursed me out and hung up on me. Overall just a really terrible experience, and I don’t want any other dog owner to go through what we went through.

Devon welcomed my doggo Penny into her home for a few days with great love and care. Devon is very sweet and you can tell she genuinely loves dogs. She is also flexible, and dropped Penny off at my place at the end for convenience. Penny seemed content and not needy at all when we reunited, which tells me that she had a wonderful time. I strongly recommend Devon!
