My family always had dogs as I was growing up and I was active in the process of training and caring for them. I am a passionate animal lover and though I don't currently have a dog of my own (I live in a small apartment with my cat) I am eager to craft a relationship with your dog. When dealing with animals, I believe that compassion is always the best option. Treating animals with kindness and respect is a central part of my worldview, whether your dog is a tiny puppy who can barely walk on the leash or a senior dog who has been on hundreds of walks in her life. The care that I can provide a dog is love-based, both in that I truly love interacting with dogs and that it is my view that bringing as much love to the situation as possible is the best method for assuring that dogs are safe and happy. This applies both to walks and sitting. I want to know what your dog is used to, what makes her or him comfortable, and what I can do to ensure your furry companion is happy while in my care. Compassion first, always! Even though cats and dogs are different in some ways, caring for my wonderful cat whom I love with all my heart has taught me a lot about compassionate and responsible animal care. I hope to bring the same level of compassion and responsibility to caring for your pet!
