Hello there! I'm Devan. Thanks for visiting my profile! It would be my pleasure to watch and care for your beloved pet. I'm an animal lover who previously worked at an esteemed animal hospital in Chicago, IL and have multiple years of pet care experience. I also grew up with everything from ducks to cats! When residing in Chicago, I regularly pet sit for numerous clients from the hospital, as well as friends and relatives, and would be happy to provide references upon request. A lot of my regular clients had pets that required medication or certain extra care, so you can feel comfortable knowing I'll be attentive to your cat or dog's special needs. Unfortunately I cannot host your pet at my home, but I can drop-in when you're away to give them some love! It's also important to me for be a good house guest, so I'm happy to water your plants or do whatever else necessary to make sure you return home happy and relaxed. With your pet in my care, you can enjoy your time away from home worry-free, knowing that they are in the best hands possible! Devan has sat for our dog, Spudders, on a number of occasions ranging from one day to two weeks. She has always provided dependable and quality care. She spends ample time with him, she sends us updates from time to time while we're gone just so we know we don't have to worry. When we return home we never have to worry about her leaving a mess or throwing a party - she treats our home as her own and cares for it accordingly. She is of the utmost trustworthiness. Devan has a background as a Veterinary Tech so we know that if anything ever DID happen, she would know how to respond accordingly to make sure our dog is given the best care necessary. She hasn't needed to put those skills to use, but it is reassuring to know that he is in knowledgeable hands should he need them. I never hesitate to call Devan when I need a sitter.
I would highly recommend Devan for any of your pet needs- from sitting, to walking, etc. Devan recently came and watched my pup and was absolutely wonderful. She treated my dog just as well as I would. My dog was actually injured a week prior, and I wasn’t comfortable leaving her with just anyone, and then Devan was referred to me through my vet. Devan administered multiple types of medicines for my dog throughout the day, and she made sure to carry her up and down the stairs when it was time for a potty break so my poor pup was in as little pain as possible. She sent me updates and pictures throughout the week so I could see how my baby was doing. She also made sure to leave the house in perfect condition which was a huge bonus!!
Devan is a kind and responsible person who has taken great care of our kitty when we were traveling. We fortunately had no emergencies with our senior feline, but it was comforting to know that Devan could handle anything that arose. She kept in contact so we never worried about how things were going. I recommend her unreservedly.
Devan has watched my dog and cat overnight in my home for extended periods of time. Devan is the best sitter I have ever had. Not to mention She has worked at an Animal Hospital so she came with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Devan takes pride in what she does. She is extremely responsible, trustworthy, and takes pride in what she does. She treated my animals and home like they are her own. Devan came recommended to me by a friend who used her to watch her dog overnight who was going through cancer treatments. I hold Devan in high regards and cant say enough great things about her. You cant find a more qualified Pet sitter than Devan.
