I'll love your babies like my own!
Pet care experience
I've been taking care of cats since I was 9, and dogs since I was 12. I currently have 5 cats and 5 dogs at home. I'm comfortable with all animals of any size and I have experience in training for obedience and leash behaviors. I am comfortable with special needs animals as well, I simply need detailed care instructions!

Thank you Destyn!❤️💕
I would be very cautious when booking with Destyn. We had her checking in on our dogs daily, Mon-Friday with a BOOKED time of 12:30. My husband and I leave the house early some days, so I knew that was the MAX time the dogs could be let out.. she told me it was fine and that she could handle it. She was late, daily. Not just 15-30 minutes late, hours late! I would get a slow minute at work to check my phone and the cameras in our home to notice she hadn’t been there. No text to tell us she would be running late, nothing. I started questioning her on it and she would constantly give an excuse. Lost her keys, traffic, another client in Covington took longer.. it was constant. When I started looking at her Rover profile, I noticed it wasn’t just me. She’s late to numerous clients because she over books herself. It was getting to the point where she would show up 2 hours late at least once or twice a week with some excuse.. I finally told her that my husband got off early some days, and if I knew she was going to be that late, I would have cancelled her from coming. We went through this for months and I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I realized I was paying too much money for someone to be neglecting my pups. I would just be very cautious if booking for specific times.
Thank you and no worries! We appreciate you! 🐶🐕
Thank you Destyn always! ❤️🐶🐕

I have an unfenced yard, but I do have a yard tie out as well as a dog run line that we can use for at home exercise! The dog park is always a fun time too! Having 4 dogs myself, I am very well versed in breaking up the occasional disagreement over food or toys so that isn't a concern for me, and we use a crate for time outs or if the dog simply needs a break from all the excitement. We also like to take them out for walks just to give them some alone time, or let them out in the yard to relax. For leash walks, I am an advocate for safe and humane methods of leash training if needed, such as harnesses and head collars, but I am also familiar with the safe and appropriate use of a prong collar if that is something you use for your dog! I do not approve of choke collars and will not use one. Cats in my home have their own safe spaces that they can enjoy without any interference from the dogs where they get plenty of sunshine, food, water, and playtime! Initial stays for boarding cats would be safely in my bedroom away from the other animals to reduce stress and encourage a safe environment for them. For dogs, all initial meetings must be done at a park or some other neutral territory to encourage good first impressions for all babies involved and to help reduce stress for any stays.

Information Destyn T. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing to know ahead of time would be leash manners and any reactivity issues towards cats or other dogs so that I can prepare ahead of time! If they are on any medications I need to be shown how to administer and I am happy to do so, and for senior dogs or special needs, a simple explanation of care expectations is all I should need!
A typical day
We have some mental stimulation toys that we can use for your dog to help keep their minds busy and we also love to go on walks to explore the neighborhood and get them used to the smells and sights. We have a great dog park in the neighborhood we love to go to as well to let them burn some energy. On a hot day we like to play in the yard with the hose and a DIY doggy pool, or, we can always enjoy hanging out on the couch or playing an easy game of tug or fetch!

Availability
This is my job full time, so I have plenty of availability to dedicate to your beloved fur baby! I am available every day, though admittedly I'm not much of a morning person, but I will do whatever you need, whatever time! I'm very flexible so just let me know and I'm happy to work with you!
