Pet care experience
Heya, everyone! I'm a local student attending UIUC majoring in Animal Sciences Pre-Veterinary Medicine, planning to apply to veterinary school and become a small and exotics veterinarian. I've always grown up with cats and dogs in my household and extended family, and since 2020 I've been working at veterinary clinics around town training to become a tech. I've had plenty of experience with different kind of medications, including injectable medications such as insulin. I've also been taking an online veterinary assistant program that I'm almost done with, and then I will be certified by NAVTA in the field. I can't wait to meet your fur babies, and treat them with all the love and attention they deserve, and more ❤

Destiny has cared for a variety of animals, including dogs, and shows a great deal of affection and care towards animals in her care. They will be played with, they will be walked, and most importantly they will be loved. I have yet to see her fail to properly care for any dog, leading me to wholeheartedly support her.

Please let me know if there are certain behaviors, tricks, or other things you guys are trying to reinforce or fix! (ie, learning to sit, or if they have a problem jumping on people when excited) Even when you guys are away, there is no reason the training and learn must stop. I have no breed preferences, but remember that I am a small person, so please be aware that I might not be able to take your large 100+ lb dogs on as long of a walk as I could for the smaller breeds. I will surely try my best to accommodate though.
A typical day
Though dog walking was not selected on my profile (I'm a small girl, so larger dogs don't realize how strong they can be and I'm not always the best for that reason), but if walking a dog, I can take them around the area or to a dog park. (I wouldn't even mind using my own car to transport them to farther locations) and if they have a lot of energy, maybe a little jog here and there too! If your dog knows how to play fetch, catch, tug of war, I will also play that with them.

Availability
I'm currently working full time at a local veterinary clinic, so I won't be available until the fall. This fall I will be a full time student at the university, and should have a more flexible schedule.
