Pet care experience
I am a single mother of two, 11 yr old girl & 3 yr old boy . My two fur babies are a 6 yr old male Papillion/Chihuahua mix & a 10 yr old female Boxer/Pitt mix. I'm a life long animal lover! Dogs are my main squeeze but I have owned &/or cared for cats, ferrets, turtles, bunnies, hamsters & more! I have 13+ years experience in all aspects of pet care, except for training & veterinary. Grooming is my profession but I enjoy & have extensive experience with walking, house-sits, vacation visits, daycare, etc.. In recent years I've attended multiple seminars on pet care. Most related to grooming but are still useful in others areas. Knowing how to properly calm or restrain a temperamental dog while keeping yourself & the pet safe, and a guide to caring for old or special needs dogs are a couple examples. I have worked in grooming shops and daycare/boarding facilities and feel now is the time to go for it on my own! Again, grooming is my main bread & butter. I absolutely LOVE what I do! It truly is an artform for me. I'm currently trying to start my own grooming service & caring for your fur babies in any way will help make that dream a reality!

Destiny walked our labradane, Kai, 3x per week for 1.5 years and was so amazing! She's truly one of the most reliable people you'll meet. For instance, she was always on top of any requests we had for the week (like rewrapping Kai's paw when Kai cut it open and needed constant bandaging). She also always gave us a complete Rover report, and never failed to lock the house back up. Furthermore, Destiny was super flexible when it came to our frequently changing schedules, and we really appreciated it. Finally, we could tell that she really loved Kai. She even gave Kai Christmas presents, as well as a going-away present. The only reason we aren't using Destiny anymore is that we're having a baby and trying to save some money. Otherwise, we wouldn't give her up!
She is prompt, diligent & caring. After 3 other dog walkers, I now come home to find a happy dog. I recommend Destiny wholeheartedly.
