About Me: I am a pet owner and animal lover! I'm currently raising a beautiful 5 month old Australian Shepherd named Thor! After losing my 12 year old dog Oreo earlier this year, I was devastated. It took quite some time to heal. A few weeks ago, I felt ready to make another lifelong friend! That's when I decided to welcome Thor into the family. He has helped me cope with my loss and always brings joy to my life! Watching your dogs will help bring me joy too! I will take care of them as if they were my own. Spending time with your best friend would be an honor! In Case of Emergency: You can feel comfortable and secure leaving them in my hands because I am American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid certified! I will take very good care of them and know exactly what to do in case of emergencies (choking, CPR, seizures, injuries, etc). I am also ready and willing to administer any medication your dog may need. They are safe with me. They will be treated like part of my family! My Dog Sitting/Walking Style: I am energetic, enthusiastic, and playful. I am comfortable feeding, bathing, walking, playing, and bringing them to any dog runs nearby. I will read through your care instructions thoroughly and make sure I follow them. How Animals Relate to My Future Career Plans: I'm currently a graduate student working to become an animal assisted psychotherapist because there's no greater bond than the human-animal bond. It saves lives! Animals signal safety, security, and well-being and can help humans cope with a variety of issues they have experienced in their lives, especially trauma.
