Hello! My name is Desiree. I moved to San Diego from NJ shore area in March of 2019. I have found myself with extra time and would like to ease some stress from a fellow pet lovers life and take care of your furry friend! I have owned dogs since I was 10 years old and can't imagine my life without a canine companion. I will treat your dog with the same amount of love, care & attention that I would treat my own. I have a very flexible schedule with my current job, so my availability to either walk or care for your animal is also very flexible. I love to be outside (big reason for my move to SD!) and remain physically active, so I am greatly looking forward to more reasons to be outdoors and exercise. I am quite familiar with the special needs and attention that a rescue animal may require, and also the increase in energy in certain breeds. I had an Australian Shepard/border collie mix rescue for 8 years. I take direction extremely well, so if there is anything in particular you need from me to feel better that your animal is in good hands, please don't hesitate to let me know. I am a big believer in open & honest communication and I take that with me to my areas of work as well. I look forward to building a relationship based on a mutual love for dogs. **I do require one week notice in advance for bookings. This gives enough time for us to have a meet&greet to make sure you are comfortable with me watching your fur babies. I make my own work schedule and it is quite flexible. However, to be able to provide your pet with my utmost attention and care, weekends are what work best for me to watch your furry companion. I will make sure to follow and take all of the directions you provide to ensure the utmost safe environment for your pet. I have watched dogs with special needs, dogs on medications, and very sick dogs. I have administered medications and also provided a tube feed for a dog so whatever it is you need from me, please let me know.
