Pet care experience
I was raised around dogs, and helped my Dad to train and raise a 120 lb Kuvasz when I was a teenager. Back in NYC, I walked the same dog for nearly a year, (a 6 lb Jack Russell/Chihuahua named Goya) with a few overnight stays. For the last seven months, I've trained and lovingly cared for my own new rescue, a medium-sized (40lb) Boston Terrier/APB mix. I have experience with dogs of various sizes and temperaments, and love spending time learning a new dog's personality: is your pooch a cuddly couch potato or a high-octane doglete?

Desiree was an amazing pet sitter for our dog Goya. She walked him twice a week for a year and was completely reliable. She was always timely and kept in great communication with us about when she wouldn't be able to come, how Goya was doing when she walked him, and anything else we needed to know. He can be a little shy, but he melted into her arms the first time they met. I definitely trusted her with the keys to our place and even the Facebook updates though I'm not the sort to request something like that. Definitely reliable. I would hire her again in an instant.
I have known Desiree for over 10 years. In that time, she has enthusiastically cared for several of our mutual friends' beloved animals. These pet owners have raved about her reliability and, more importantly, her genuine love of their dogs.
