Pet care experience
Growing up my whole life with dogs and helping out family friends when they were out of town, I have thorough experience with walking, feeding, taking care of, and playing with dogs of all sizes and ages. In addition, I grew up with rats, guinea pigs and a chinchilla, so I have experience taking care of smaller animals as well! Beyond simply the experience I have, I get so much joy out of being around and interacting with pets and having none of my own at home I would love to hang with your pets. I am open and flexible to any needs or requests regarding specific situations with pets as they are needed. I’m excited to get to know you and your fur babies!

Desiree has been an 'animal person' since she was young. She had plenty of experience with Scooter, their family dog for more than 15 years, as well as caring for a Guinea Pig, Pet Rats, and an Chinchilla (she 'shared' the Chinchilla with our daughter). Desiree took excellent cared for our two cats, chickens, and Portuguese water dog, Spencer, on numerous long weekends while were away. I know Desiree loves animals, is a caring person, and has a great sense for handling any situation in stride. She's also responsible, a trait that gave us ease in knowing Desiree was in charge of our critters and home . I wouldn't hesitate to intrust Desiree with caring for someone's VID (very important dog). She was our 'go to' young person when we needed someone to care for our pets and home.
From the moment Baleigh, our 2 year old lab, laid eyes on Desi, she was hooked! Immediately Desi grabbed a few of her toys to play with her outside and there was an instant connection. We were going to an out of state wedding and I had no idea who was going to be able to handle our sweet but energetic two year old. She made sure Baleigh was well fed, plenty of water, and took her for walks each day in our absence. Knowing Desi was with her let me relax and enjoy our time away. Upon our return, we could see that Baleigh was the happiest puppy ever. Desi is trustworthy, responsible, and dependable and I would highly recommend her. I admired her passion for our puppy and it showed in the level of care that she provided. Thanks Desi!
Desiree has been a responsible and trustworthy pet sitter and dog walker for our family. She responds right away, is always on time, and goes above and beyond for our dogs. Our dogs love her and always enjoy a visit, walk and play time with Desiree. She is a great and we highly recommend her !
