Pet care experience

**IMPORTANT** 11/20 - Due to the Mysterious Respiratory Illness Affecting Dogs in Multiple States, we won't take new customers until further notice. Thank you. Dear dog parents, My name is Desiree, and I have many years of experience providing doggy daycare and dog boarding. My husband Brad and I have two cats (Luna and Cosmos) and two dogs (Krypto and Zero) that we consider our furry children. We know how hard it is to leave your beloved pets behind on vacation or during a long workday. My mission is to provide peace of mind while ensuring excellent pet care and a safe place for your dog. My vision is to be the number one choice for dog parents by dedicating my time, knowledge, passion for dogs, and expertise. Due to separation from their dog parents, dog boarding can be stressful. To ensure that every dog feels safe and can thrive during their stay, I have created rules that every dog's parent must follow. Additionally, pickup or drop-off is currently not offered due to the high volume of customers. Daycare and Boarding Rules: 1. Shots: Rabies, Lepto, Distemper and Bordetella. Copies of the shots must be provided before the meet and greet. 2. Food - please provide your dogs' food with a feeding schedule. Provide their bowl and measuring cup or pre-made measured portions to ensure that your dog stays on the same diet plan as they are at home. Changing diets can cause more stress. If food is not provided, an entire bag will be charged. 3. Toys - we discourage bringing toys as we have plenty. Most dogs protect their toys, which can create aggressive behavior within the group. However, we are open to trying to incorporate personal toys and make decisions on an individual basis. 4. Beds/Blankets - provide your dogs' favorite bed or blanket so they can feel right at home during their stay. 5. Aggressive Behavior - any sudden or continuous aggressive behavior will lead to cancellation. We encourage each dog to come and stay for one day at daycare. Every dog deserves to be in a safe environment. If your dog shows sudden, continuous aggressive behavior, you will be responsible for making a new arrangement. 6. Separation Anxiety - if your dog experiences anxiety while being separated from you, please consult your vet before their stay and discuss possible treatment. We are more than happy to give your beloved pet whatever they need. 7. Destructive Behavior - if your dog is destructive (broken equipment, appliances, and furniture), you will be contacted immediately and charged accordingly. 8. Medication - we are very skilled in administering medication. Please provide all medication with a written schedule to ensure proper administration. Provide whatever your dog needs to take their medication, such as pill pockets. 9. Potty trained - if your dog experiences incontinence, has a medical condition, or likes to mark, please provide proper diapers. Our backyard is always open for potty breaks, and all dogs are encouraged to use the backyard every 3-4 hours. 10. Meet and Greet - every dog needs to come for a meet and greet before any daycare or boarding requests are confirmed. Questions you need to answer: 1. Is your dog potty trained? 2. Has your dog ever gone to daycare before? 3. Has your dog ever been boarded before? 4. Is your dog rather anxious, and what triggers their anxiety? 5. Are there any spots where your dog does not like to be touched? 6. Does your dog like to play? Is there a specific activity or game they like? 7. Does your dog have any allergies? 8. Is your dog allowed treats? 9. Is there anything else we should know about your dog?

My dog had an amazing time! He came home happy and really tired after spending 4 days at Desiree's place. ( He literally slept for an entire day to recover from all the playtime:))

We've used Desiree in the past for daycare but this time was for boarding for our pup can't say enough on how stressless and comfortable we were with it! A lot communication back and forth and picture updates on our pup while we were out of town! I would highly recommend and definitely book again in the future!
