Pet care experience
I volunteered with Wayside Waifs from 2015 to 2019. My current job is working from home with the Missouri Children’s Division, with an in office day on Tuesday's. I have worked as a kennel attendant at a vet clinic as well. I have been pet sitting since 2017 for friends and families dogs and cats and have a pet of my own; a cat named Jinx. I have a strong background in dog walking because that was my biggest role with my kennel job and my Wayside volunteer work. I have been trained on dog behavior. I can work with animals who require medication or have disabilities and can provide photo updates, treats and a lot of love to your fur baby. My plan is to go back to school and hopefully pursue a career in shelter work and animal rescue, or become an epidemiologist.

Desiraye always does a great job with my older kitty, Mr. Grey. It's so fun to hear about how he enjoyed a treat "scavenger hunt" and seeing all the photos of him having a good time puts me at ease. On this particular visit, he had a bout of constipation and took it out on my bed while I was gone. Desiraye let me know and without prompting (and even with a time crunch on her hands with work that day) threw my comforter and blanket in the wash for me - and then the dryer too! - even though I'd be back the next day. She goes above and beyond for both of us and I know my baby (and my apartment 😂) is in great hands when I'm traveling. Not to mention, she's so friendly, has great rates, is super responsive, and has easy scheduling.
Desiray always takes such good care of my dogs and home. She always follows the instructions to a T and is able to get my senior dog to eat and take his meds better than me, I think! They are so comfortable with her. They are always calm and relaxed when I return. We apprecite her so much!
Desiraye spoiled my 13 year old kitty! She had great communication, let me know during every check-in what my cat was up to, and performed all her tasks flawlessly! I loved the activities she set up and the pictures she sent.
Desiraye did an amazing job house sitting for my two cats while I was away. She went above and beyond and made me feel so comfortable with leaving them. I get really anxious leaving them and this was the first time I didn't worry about them at all! She played with them and sent plenty of updates (and very cute photos). They were very happy when I got home. 😊 I would 100% recommend her for any care your pets need.

I am able to crate your dog if necessary and give appropriate amounts of potty breaks. I have no problem cleaning up any messes made and consistently document both good and bad behavior. I typically remain in the home for sitting and leave to run errands for my grandmother or care for my cat at home. I stick to feeding schedules/timeframes well. I maintain the home and pick up after myself.

A typical day
I will take your dogs on walks, or let your cats out if they are indoor/outdoor. I play music for myself and the dogs in the evening for sleeping. If the weathers nice and there is a yard I can play outside with them for a while. If allowed I can transport your dog, and provide treats.
