Desi doesn't just see dogs as pets, she sees them as furry parts of the family. And that's honestly not just dogs. She holds a special place in her heart for all animals. I can't even begin to count how many animals she has rescued. She has 2 dogs of her own and makes sure they are loved, exercised, and cared for at all times. They are large dogs so she knows how to handle big dogs and isn't scared of them. One of her dogs is actually one she and her mom rescued from a ditch and nursed back to good health. He must had been abused by a previous owner and Desi worked with him to gain his loyalty. And she does that with every dog she encounters. She never gives up on a dog, she is the kind of person who when she goes to a social gathering she always finds the dog or it finds her! Could not recommend anyone better to be walking, dog sitting, or just in general taking care of my fur babies. 5 stars every time!
