Pet care experience
My wife and I are life long dog owners. Sadly, we have had to say goodbye to three dogs in five years. The oldest two died of old age (cancer), while our most recent dog was put to rest due to severe hereditary issues that showed up as a puppy. I care deeply for all dogs and have decided to hold off getting a new dog. The time has come for me to share my love for dogs in a new way, I want to share my love for dogs by helping other dog lovers to care for their best friends while you are away. Honestly, I just love dogs and the void left by the absence of my best friends has motivated me to offer dog services to others. Warning, your dog may come home with high expectations of belly rubs and long walks:)

We had the best positive experience for our little Bemer. Bemer was very well taken care. Derek provided a home away from home. We got regular pics and updates. We knew our pupper was in the best hands. Highly recommend Derek. We will definitely be using him again. :)
Can’t say enough about Derek and his family! They cared for Murphy like he was their own, he didn’t want to leave. Derek was so friendly and welcoming, and made me very comfortable leaving my pup with him. Will definitely contact him first next time we need a pup sitter!
Derek was such an awesome dog sitter! He and his wife paid attention to all the little details for my little diva and regularly sent me pictures while I was away. I believe they completely loved my dog and enjoyed having her. I would absolutely and without hesitation have them care for my pet again. And I know my dog enjoyed her time there - I think she may even have been a bit disappointed that I returned!!!
Derek’s pet care comes from his heart. With decades of experience as a pet parent, he is so compassionate and treats all pets as if they were his own. He won over our stubborn Rottie-cross rescue and was exceptional with our special needs pup who was blind and required extra attention with feeding and various other medical needs. Derek is also very conscientious and trustworthy, and I highly recommend him to provide care for your fur baby.

My day consists of morning and evening walks, preferably with one of my furry friends! I love all animals but dogs have a special place in my heart. I have access to miles of great walking trails and a large fenced yard for play time. I have become proficient with belly rubs, hugs, and snuggle time. At least that’s what my furry friends say:)
