Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since forever. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets while maintaining a comfortable environment. I have cared for the smallest of terriers to English Mastiffs. I have also cared for up to 3 energetic german shepherds at the same time while also making sure the house cat was good to go each day. As long as you can provide me with details on what your furry friend needs each day, this will work out great!

Derek always does an amazing job caring for my high maintenance English Bulldogs. I never have to worry knowing that Derek will take care of them just like they were his own. Once I had to go on a business trip days after one of my dogs had major surgery. I couldn’t imagine letting anyone other than Derek take care of him. He’s the best!
Derek is a very responsible pet owner and caretaker. He is punctual and respectful and great at communicating with owners. He has taken very good care of my pet Pepita in the past.

I will care for pets in a client's home -- Please make sure you have a well-written list of all of the day-to-day needs of your pet(s). I will make sure to follow them exactly and make sure your pet is well taken care of. I am happy to spend the night if necessary. For pets in my home, they will stay in a large kitchen area with access to a living room to lounge. Depending on the size and type of dog - they may or may not be allowed on the couches. The backyard is 75% fenced -- the portion that is not fenced leads to a walking path around a lake. Unless the pet is well trained to stay near or return when called, I keep the pet on a leash while in the backyard. There is a pebble area for potty breaks.

Availability
I work remotely, so as long as I have access to my laptop and a wifi connection, I am good to go. I can bring my own wifi if you do not have one. This makes it really easy to be tending to the needs of the pets at almost any time throughout the day. I do travel for work so please reach out to me 1-2 weeks in advance.
