I have had experience with therapy dogs who come in at UWM during finals week. I really enjoyed that when I was an undergraduate. I have also had experience with my uncles cats who lives in Thiensville, Wisconsin. Generally, I have always enjoyed pets. As a person who has dealt with depression and anxiety, I have known that dogs have been therapeutic for people who have experienced mental illness. I feel this opportunity would propel me into learning more about pets especially dogs. Overall, I feel this experience will be fun and enjoyable as I will be more educated about pets. I feel this job will be fun and therapeutic for my mind and my spirit as a person who has become more spiritual recently.
