My family and I have lots of free time to take care of dogs. I have taken care of all different sizes and breeds of dogs my whole life. My Dad has always been a dog trainer and been referred to as ‘The Dog Whisperer”. I personally have had 4 dogs and 3 cats. Currently I just have 2 cats. Unfortunately we lost our dog, Melo right after Christmas of 2021. We miss him so deeply, we decided to try Rover. We own our home and dogs are free to roam the house. We have a very large, fenced in yard for the dogs to play outside. My family and I appreciate you sharing your dog(s) with us and will treat them like family. We understand that it may be stressful for your dog being in a new environment so we make sure to take the time to help your dog get comfortable. We also understand that it is scary to leave your pet with someone new and we will do our best to make you feel comfortable as well, by sending you daily updates, videos and keep an open communication with you, during their stay. If we do have multiple dogs (usually the most we have are 4), we will first take them all for a walk together, for them to get acclimated as a pack. We also have experience with puppies, senior dogs and dogs with special needs. We would love the opportunity to care for your dog. I will do my best to meet your needs. Also the more notice, the better chance I have openings, since I do tend to book up pretty fast (3-5 weeks in advance, especially during the holidays). We keep things as consistent as possible so we have the dogs we board sleep where they normally would sleep at their own home. We allow dogs to sleep in our beds, as well as on our couch. We also go for plenty of walks throughout the day (weather permitting) and offer plenty of play and rest time as well. We love to take photos and videos of the dogs to share with you while you’re away to put your mind at ease and know that your pet is having fun while you’re away.
