Pet care experience
I am an animal foster parent for Brother Wolf as well as the Asheville Humane Society. I found a passion for helping dogs and cats get adopted after losing my own pet last year. I know how important it is to give them attention and love at all times to bring out their best personalities! Sometimes dogs need more than one meeting to get their true selves to shine, so I make sure to be patient and learn about them the best I can. I have been fortunate to work with a variety of dogs with many different types of personalities, including some with reactivity issues. I make sure to listen and provide the best care I can for those pets that require a little more understanding! I also helped my previous foster dogs with many things including their daily medications, reactivity issues, and allergic reactions.

AMAZING! Such a great walker! She was so kind and patient with my pup who can sometimes be a bit stubborn! She took the time to make sure my pup was comfortable with her which I really appreciated. One of the best walkers I’ve ever used- highly recommend!!!
Denisse was an amazing pet sitter for our dog and two cats. She was available on short notice and sent updates with pictures. I knew our pets were in good hands.
Denisse is a wonderful, down to earth, gentle person. My two dogs and were well loved and cared for while we were gone. They all seemed happy and healthy upon our return. Would book again!

When I am in a client's home I make sure to follow the rules and guidelines laid out to the best of my ability. I always try and leave the home better than I found it and reach out with any questions. If a pet is allowed on the bed I also don't mind them sleeping with me!

A typical day
I love to go on walks/runs with my foster dogs at various parks or in the neighborhood, depending on how they are around other dogs. With puppies I have fostered I mainly play fetch and tug of war in the backyard when they are not napping. Many clients also use enrichment toys that I can give to the pets to keep them stimulated while I am working.

Availability
I’m currently working part-time in Fletcher, but most of my work is done via laptop so I can go anywhere there is internet and have very flexible hours! I am currently going into the office from 9 am-11 am to pick-up paper work and work in the office for a bit, but I am able to modify those times based on sittings!
