Dogs had a blast! We could tell and see that they were taken care of as if they were theirs!

Eleven years ago, I first met Denise as a breeder from whom I purchased a dog. Since then I have purchased 2 more dogs from her, gone to dog shows with her and had her take care of my dogs when I went on vacation. Denise was a groomer in her younger college years (some 30 years ago) and is nationally known in Basenji circles. She has had years of experience with dogs (all kinds) and MANY dog owners call her when something is not right with their dogs. She is sort of an on-line referral doggie nurse to those of us who know her. In fact, the veterinarian even admitted that she knows more about Basenjis and their ailments then he does. She has been sitting dogs for several years, on a small scale, and is now expanding into a business. I can truthfully say that I have absolutely no reservation in leaving my dogs with her. If someone leaves a dog with her and that dog needs toe nail trim or other grooming, she does it because the dog needs it. Her dogs live longer than most dogs of that breed just because she takes super good care of them. If she sees a stray on the street, she takes it in and finds a home for it. She has placed many dogs. Anyone that needs a dog sitter could not find a better, more conscientious one. You can go on vacation and be comfortable knowing that you beloved dog is being well taken care of. She just really loves and cares for the dogs. Currently she owns not only 7 Basenjis but also has a Pit Bull, a Hairless Chinese Crested and a Shih Tsu. She has had experience with handling many breeds of dogs and shows many different breeds in conformation. I recommend her without reservation for anyone looking for a pet sitter whom you can trust to take good, loving care of your dog.
