Hello! We are a family of pet lovers - Denise, Adam and Brenna. We have been dog owners for nearly our whole lives and we love all animals. We want to provide the same level of care you do for your pets while you are away. Your pets are welcome to our home where we have a German Shorthair Pointer, 4 outdoor cats and a barnful of chickens. We could also stay in your home while you are away to care for your pets and your home. Or we can drop in 1-3 times per day to check in on them. Whichever you are most comfortable with and what your pet needs! If it’s acceptable to the pet and the owner, my daughter will help me with pet sitting/walking, but if you have a kid-shy pet that’s ok too - I can care for your pet in your home without my daughter present as well. We do work full time, so pets may be left alone for a few hours during the day Monday - Friday, depending on work and other obligations during the week. The most we ever would leave a pet alone would be 9 hours, and that would be rare. We do have the option to work our FT job remotely from your home some weekdays, it all depends on the schedule. We have been doing Rover for over 3 years and it is so much fun! We have experience taking care of medically special needs pets - diabetic, blind, and senior. We also have cared for chickens, ducks and cows. All animals will be loved like they are our own.

This is the second time Denise stayed with Charley. We were gone a lot longer and I think was pretty confused and frustrated but Denise is pretty fantastic with him. As long as she is willing to take our monster, we'll have her do it every time. Hopefully he's a little better puppy next time.
From the minute me and my dogs met Denise and her family, we knew they were a perfect fit. She was house-sitting and caring for 4 cats and 4 dogs for 10 days, many with strict dietary needs and medication requirements. She sent updates and photos to me while I was away. I even came home to a clean, calm household. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and I definitely recommend her for long term house and pet-sitting. I wish they could come over all the time to play with the dogs!

A typical day
We have a pet friendly home and property. 7 acres, a pond, a kennel area and a larger fenced in yard. We also have a KID to play with! :) Pets are welcome on our furniture so we typically do a lot of snuggling.

Availability
I work full-time in Spring Lake Park or remotely so am available for drop in visits on evenings or weekends. When boarding we work remotely about 60% of the time. We do a lot of pet/home sitting for short weekend stays, but have also stayed in homes for 7-10 days while families are on vacation. Drop in visits with cats can be fit into our schedule pretty seamlessly.
