Pet care experience
Animals have been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. As a child I was going to grow up and raise puppies and kittens not children. Huh! Didn't happen! But now that the kids are all but grown, even more animals are coming into my life. Worked as an animal health tech in small animal practice and the University of Missouri Veterinary School before becoming a nurse. Even as a nurse, animals came into my life, When living in OKC connections brought me to the now INFAMOUS GW EXOTIC. (Yes! Tiger King ... before he went really wrong!) Doing wound care on the camels and tigers. Today my animal menagerie continues to grow. We have 4 cats, 2 geckos, 30 some hens and roosters, 10 new baby heritage turkeys, and ONE golden retriever in the house, with other Goldens all around us.

Denise was the BEST for our dog Goose. She communicated with us all day, sent tons of pictures, and was flexible with our schedules. My dog had a blast out at her farm with her dog and family, he came home tired and happy.
Denise has always been a huge lover of animals. I have known her for many years to care for all sorts of animals including dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, ducks, chickens, etc. She always treats the animals in her care with love and respect!
Denise is a mother of both human children and children of the animal kingdom. She has lovingly raised and cared for dozens of her own cats, dogs, chickens, and other small mammals. I have trusted her on numerous occasions to care for my own dogs and cat and have always come home to find them happy and healthy after being in her care.
Denise is everything you would want in temporary pet care and more. She has cared for our two Golden Retrievers, Zoey and Eevee, and our cat, George, half a dozen times and counting. She was born to care for others, including animals. She is loving and gives pets plenty of attention with both the necessities, eg eating and waste, and recreations. Denise is reliable, easy to work with, professional, and a lover of all animals. Find out for yourself!

I live on 3 1/2 acres of open space. Fenced area available. Fairly secluded with minimal access. Lots of fun areas for dogs to run and play with a golden retriever who is friends with all. Kennel space available if you have your dog crate trained.

A typical day

I am currently at home with my high school daughter who is home schooled, so my days are flexible and open. Available any time with enough notice. Sleepovers also open.
