Pet care experience
I've taken care of many different kinds of pets, even dog sitting at family and friends homes since I was in my teens (30+ years). I have experience with small dogs (chihuahuas, shih tzus, etc) all the way to owning and feeling very comfortable around extra large dogs (Great Danes, Saint Bernards, etc.). I have trained our family pets from puppies and have also rescued multiple family pets (those w/ special needs, too).

To whom it may concern, I have known Denise for almost 25 years. I have never known anyone that loves animals more than her. I personally call her the dog whisperer. It doesn't matter what kind of dog, how big of a dog or where the dog comes from, Denise is automatically in love with that animal. Sometimes I truly believe she might like them more than her husband. Just kidding. I don't know anyone more suitable to take care of someone's dog or any animal for that matter. I trust Denise with the safety of any of my loved ones including the ones with fur. She is a nurse & I personally watched Denise care for a duck that had been attacked by another animal. She made sure the duck's wounds were medicated daily and the duck made a full recovery. Your dog would be lucky to have spent any amount of time with Denise. She is the Best!!

This is why I love meet and greets - to set us up for success! I want to know as much about your love as I can before we go off on any mini adventures... does he/she have any triggers or cues that I need to be aware of? For example, my Dane -Jackson - goes crazy for any type of delivery truck (UPS, Amazon, etc) and really DISLIKES the deliveries. Does your pet jump and kiss all kids? Do men make he/she cower? Does your little one need to be carried if we walk longer than a few blocks?
A typical day
I love to participate in activities that will stimulate your dogs and keep them BUSY! Where we can, I will try to tap into the strengths of that breed. For example, hounds can be mentally stimulated by tracking scents or being exposed to lots of new ones. Working dogs can be very task oriented and can play games that offer quick rewards. Otherwise, I like to also tap into tried and true activities - walks, ball chasing, etc.

I currently work M-TH and generally evenings are spent with family. I am usually available Fridays and weekends. I can be flexible with special requests outside of this timeframe.
