I've loved dogs my entire life and in 2016 was fortunate to finally have one of my own. While on my travels in China, I came across a tiny stray puppy with no family in sight and couldn’t bear the thought of leaving him without helping him. So I stuck him in my coat pocket and started to look up ways to get him to a home. After finding a vet in Beijing to help assist me in taking him home, Bing and I have been best buds in Colorado ever since. Dogs are simply a big part of my heart and I love to take care of them. I’ve volunteered at several animal organizations in the past. While living in New Jersey, I used to volunteer at the local shelter and spearheaded a volunteer program to take shelter dogs on hikes or to local parks. It was a great experience for the both of us. Currently, I volunteer at a rabbit shelter in addition to dog sitting, and just love providing care for animals! I currently work from home, which means I have a very open schedule that will allow me to spend plenty of time with the pups that I’m sitting. I take plenty of breaks during the day to get out and stretch my legs, so your pup will be in good company if they need to burn some energy during the day. Bing is very friendly and loves having new friends around, so your pup will always have someone to play with whether that be me or Bing! I also have a cat named Luna but she is much more on the quieter side. Our home is quiet and calm and both of my pets get along with other animals very well.
