Pet care experience
* All new clients will require a meet and greet prior to booking. We will take care of your dog with love and detail. Nick and I have three wonderful and very active dogs - a sleepy independent hound mix, a playful gentle giant husky, and an alert and loyal blue heeler. Amongst other members of our Zoo, we also have two cats, outdoor rabbits and chickens. If cats are an issue, we can keep them in our spare room. We would love to take care of your animals and have cared for animals of all ages, sizes and personalities. My fiance works from home so your pet will almost never be left alone. We love to be outdoors and hike, but also love to spend our days off in our backyard and relax in the sun, then settle in at night in the living room surrounded by all of our furry friends. I strongly believe in daily communication and taking appropriate safety measures. Send me a message and I guarantee we will treat your pets like they are one of our own. We always do our best to accommodate for your family's needs. For new clients, we do require a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone gets along. I am a volunteer for the SPCA and AFRP Animal Rescue, am a full time physician assistant, and run my own little animal rescue (ISA Animal Rescue). I have been involved in animal shelters for over 10 years. I dedicate my life to helping others and hope I can help you out as well. Denise, Nick, and their pets were a perfect fit for my Covid baby aka needy pup. I was nervous/skeptical about leaving her with “strangers” at first but as soon as we met them, all the anxiety went away. When the dogs met and I saw how well they all got along I knew this would be the perfect place for her. My dog had never been away from home and their dogs along with the personalized/attentive care they provided, she settled right in. Denise provided me with details on my dog’s stay (along with photos) and it made me so happy that she was in good hands and was having such a good time. I would absolutely recommend them to the fullest, and will personally be returning for future care needs. Thank you so much for doing what you do!
Denise and Nick and their dog pack are absolutely amazing. We are so happy that found them for our boy. They took exceptionally good care of him. All the time keep us updated with photos. Our boy had great time and made best friend Kai ( husky of Denise and Nick). You can trust them your loved ones without any doubt. Once more thank you guys for everything ❤?.
We have a 13 week old puppy and we’re nervous about leaving him at such a young age. Denise took such wonderful care of him and sent daily messages along with pictures. He had a great time with their dogs. I would absolutely use her services again.
Denise and Nick are the sweetest and most kind people! They were so good to Paisley and took so many cute pictures and updates on how the weekend was going. Having so many animals of our own and fostering/rescuing many animals of different needs, we have adapted numerous safety mechanisms to protect our home and the animals. We have reinforced fencing with extra latches, indoor and outdoor cameras, keep a clean household with minimal temptations, separate feeding rooms, locked garbage cans, dog-proof doors, food and treats in safe and animal-proof containers or cabinets. Because of all the personalities we have dealt with, we have also learned numerous ways to avoid conflict and keep each animal comfortable and stress-free. Not to mention the numerous toys scattered throughout inside and out of the house! In order to maintain a safe environment, we also do not house dogs from multiple households at the same time. We are open to up to 2 dogs per household but only after close evaluation with our dogs.

Crate trained, immunized, temperament, fears, spayed/neutered, usual routine, any tricks, good with other animals? Unfortunately, dogs with an "alpha" personality or with a history of aggression would not do well in our home.
A typical day
Hiking/walking in the 20 acres of hills on our property - private and quiet trails for your pup at different levels of difficulty, running, relaxing in the backyard on the deck, watching TV on the couch at night

Availability
Your pet can have the option to go indoors and outdoors as they please. We will always check with you to see how long your pet is comfortable being alone for, if they prefer being crated or uncrated, and can be monitored by a camera if needed. You can expect your dog to be able to enjoy the sunshine at least every hour. Whether your dog prefers to sunbathe outside all day or relax indoors, we can adjust to each dog's preferences in a safe environment.
