Love dogs, love to walk!
Pet care experience
I currently live with 2 rescues of my own, Macy and Dawson. I have experience with both puppies through senior aged dogs. I've have owned dogs for over 30 years and will always have a dog throughout the remainder of my life. I LOVE dogs, and all animals! Over the years, I've taken care of pets for family and friends and have never had issues with behaviors. I am passionate about taking good care of them and ensuring they are getting the best care possible. I have trained my own dogs with great success. Though my little guy is occasionally leash aggressive toward other dogs, we've worked on skills and he is doing much better. I know some of this behavior comes from being a dog that was running the streets in Tennessee until we rescued him. All dogs have the ability to behave, regardless of previous conditions. It just takes a work and patience, which I have in abundance.

Denise has been a dog lover as long as I have known her. She is extremely responsible, organized and kind. She has great attention to detail, so any instructions you give her in regards to your pets will be followed. She would become another human that your pet can trust and look forward to seeing each time. Denise knows how to gain the trust of dogs and holds them in high regard. She loves all breeds, big or small, and is aware of any special needs they would need. Denise would make an excellent dog walker.
Denise has a true passion for working with dogs. She knows that each dog is unique and will care for your dog as if it were her own. She will take extra care to make sure your dog is safe and feels comfortable and loved.
I have known Denise for 30 years and from the first time we met I knew she was an animal lover. She truly loves all animals and is a kind, loving, and caring person to her pets as well as other people's pets. I think she would make a wonderful dog caregiver. Not only would she be responsible and kindhearted but she would go above and beyond the care of any animal. Denise has taken care of my dogs and cats over the years and I had no worries while I was away. Any family would be blessed to have Denise care for the loving pet (dog).
Denise is really good with dogs. She's watched my dog when we've gone on vacation and was really good with taking care of him. The 2 dogs I have currently LOVE her and they get so excited when they see her, especially my mixed shih tzu. He adores her. I would definitely trust my dogs with Denise.

I walk my own dogs twice a day for 20 to 30 minutes each walk. I do this all year, regardless of the weather conditions. It's important to get dogs outside and active and it's important for ME to do the same! It's a win-win for me!

I believe it's important to know the limitations of each dog, what their demeanor is, how they interact on a leash and if there are any health concerns. It's important for me to meet each parent and pet in order to fully understand how I can best serve their needs.
A typical day
I play with my own dogs on a daily basis, whether it's running around, walking, playing with dog puzzles, and the like. I keep my dogs as physically, socially and emotionally active as possible. I also take them to the Hammell Woods dog park for them to have wide open space to run and socialize as I currently don't have a fenced yard for them.

Availability
I am a semi-retired school administrator. My availability varies, but I am typically available in the mornings during the week. I may have time occasional time on weekends. I take care of my own dogs daily and being semi-retired gives me an opportunity to also be with other dogs during the week. I'm excited to be able to help others with their pet care needs.
