I think my passion and love of any kind of animal was always there but I saw something different when I worked at an animal clinic when I was 20 years old. It made me want to make sure that when those animals were there and I knew they were scared that they felt as safe and loved as possible. I think when the big realization came about how some dogs are treated or viewed started when I got a pitbull. My daughter was 3 (26 years ago) and I was so mad at my husband for bringing a pitbull home. Well.... I don't believe that they were separated ever after that day. My daughter and my "son" Bo were best friends. That just continued when my 2 sons were born and my sister's twins. The love that my sister saw made her get our sweet Kayden 6 years ago. I love animals of all sizes and I am not easily intimidated by an animal. I am very willing to have the patience to work with an animal that needs a little time. My dream in life is to actually own an animal rescue. If I can't do that then this is my way to give love and security to animals. It also allows their parents to feel relaxed and know that their animal is safe and loved every minute their baby/babies are with me.
