Pet care experience
Quality pet care for birds, canines, felines, fish, reptiles, & small mammals. I grew up caring for pet family members from mice to Horses! I also have done many years of rescue, foster, and re-homing (both dogs & cats), making sure they go to good homes and have the necessary training. I have been through basic obedience training with my own canine, Zena. We also have three felines each with their own personalities and fish. I would love to set up a meet & greet or tour to find out if I am the right fit for your pet family members. I am located in NW Rochester with easy access to highway 52. You can trust that your pet family member is in a safe environment whenever I am around. When providing care in your home I listen to all the rules & routines you have with your pets and follow them. I care for them as if they were my own in the way you already do. When I provide care in my home, you can expect a fully fenced in yard and a friendly canine friend, Zena. Three felines (Nifty, Ghost, & Oreo) that have their own spaces and don't mind having guests for the most part. All our animals are up to date on vaccines and we ask that your fur family member(s) are too. Your fur family member will have their own dog suite, used mainly for meals, naptime, and bedtime. I have two crates available, both adjustable, large & extra large. We have water bowls both inside and outside. Everything is cleaned and sanitized between guests.

I would like to know if your pet has any fears, shows aggression towards anything, commands you use (sit, heal, etc.) and what they are not allowed to do (lick, jump up, etc.). When I have your canine(s) in my home I also need to know if they are good around children (7, 13), felines & another canine. I do NOT have any breed preferences, I care for all!
A typical day
A typical day with your pet family member differs depending on the service. When I walk your canine(s) it will be in their neighborhood, if you want me to walk a specific route or area please let me know. I can transport canines in my vechile. After and/or during a walk I like to make sure that your canine gets plenty of water, especially during warm/hot days. I do not do group walks, unless the canines already know eachother. During drop-ins I like to make sure that your pet family member feels loved, gets potty breaks, and has a wonderful time as if you were home. *Currently not taking new boarding clients (Feb. '24)* Doggy daycare is mainly used for those who come into town for appointments, traveling nurses, or for those who need a few hours of care for their canine family member.

Availability
I have the pleasure of spending time with your pet family members full-time. I make sure my calendar here is updated every week. I can be flexible in many situations including changes up to 12-24 hours in advance. Book your requests as soon as possible, up to 3 months in advance. I typically do not charge a cancelation fee as long as I have notice.
