I am a Fear Free Certified veterinary technician and pet sitter. I have over 15 years of experience and education in veterinary medicine with an emphases in animal behavior. I have 2 years of experience as a dog trainer. In high school and college I volunteered at the Tulsa SPCA. While in college, I volunteered with Legacy of Hope Dog Rescue as a trainer, caregiver, and foster. I currently have 3 dogs (a pit bull, shih tzu, and blue heeler). I work hard every day to continue my education and learn new training and behavior techniques. I can't wait to meet your fur babies!! I also offer nail trimming and anal glad expressions for an additional fee.

If you need a sitter that you can feel comfortable turning over your home and "children" to, Dee is THE person that you need to meet! I've known her for years and my babies accepted her, as part of our 'pack', immediately. She genuinely understands their needs and I never think twice about leaving them in her care. I traveled a lot, for work, so most of my time away was scheduled but even when I was called away, unexpectedly, (due to an illness in my family) DeNaine was there and I never felt like I was burdening her. One of my babies had had surgery and was on medication, for awhile, and Dee never hesitated regarding meds or special needs. DeNaine is trustworthy, competent, and compassionate. I absolutely, highly recommend her to anyone who doesnt feel 100% comfortable leaving their babies at the kennel or with "just a sitter". :)

I love all dogs and I do not believe in breed restrictions. If your dog is shy, timid, or reluctant to meet strangers, I would like to have a few fun visits before I begin pet sitting so the dog(s) can become more acquainted with me. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and varying medical needs. I am comfortable giving oral and injectable medications if needed.
A typical day
I love taking my dogs for walks at local parks and through the neighborhood. I have a variety of dog and cat enrichment techniques to help keep their minds busy and prevent boredom!
